Bailey is a creative at heart and a storyteller by nature. When she's not behind the camera helping businesses shine, you'll most likely find her in the ocean catching waves, pretending to be a mermaid, wandering the beach in search of the perfect shell, or chasing the next beautiful sunset with her camera in hand.
She believes life's best moments are meant to be experienced, shared, and remembered. Whether she's spending time with family and friends, exploring the Outer Banks, or creating content for local businesses, Bailey brings genuine enthusiasm, creativity, and a love for this community into everything she does.
The Story of a Smile
Local Smile was born from a simple belief: every business has a story worth sharing.
Founded by Bailey, Local Smile is a social media marketing, content creation, photography, and videography company proudly based in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since beginning her marketing career in 2020, Bailey has worked with three multi-million-dollar companies, helping brands connect with their audiences through thoughtful strategy, creative storytelling, and authentic content.
While marketing became her profession, storytelling has always been her passion.
For as long as anyone can remember, Bailey has been the friend with a camera in hand—capturing sunsets after beach days, documenting life's milestones, cheering on friends by promoting their businesses, and preserving the little moments that often become the most meaningful memories. Living in the Outer Banks since 2020, she quickly fell in love with the community, its small businesses, and the incredible beauty that surrounds it. After purchasing her home in 2025, she knew this was where she wanted to plant roots and invest her talents.
That passion became Local Smile.
Today, Local Smile partners with local businesses to create engaging social media content, professional photography, compelling videos, and marketing strategies that help brands grow while staying true to who they are. Whether it's showcasing a local coffee shop, capturing the excitement of a new business opening, or telling the story behind a family-owned company, the goal is always the same: create content that feels genuine, builds community, and leaves a lasting impression.
Of course, no Local Smile story would be complete without Puka. Bailey's four-legged sidekick and self-proclaimed Director of Barketing is always ready for the camera. As the official dog model (and yes, Bailey jokes that she "gave birth to her"), Puka happily steals the spotlight whenever she's invited. Don't worry—she's definitely not camera shy.

Behind every great project is a team that keeps the creativity flowing and the details organized. Meet Olivia, our Operations Coordinator and the friendly face helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, Olivia brings a background in outdoor recreation and tourism from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. A 2025 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Political Science, she's passionate about protecting the environment and supporting the communities that make places feel like home. As a long-time visitor of the Outer Banks, she's excited to connect with the incredible local businesses that make this coastal community so unique. From managing emails, scheduling, contracts, and invoices to ensuring every client has a seamless experience, Olivia is here to help every step of the way. And when she's working from home, you'll usually find her with her two adorable assistants—Remus and Romulus—never too far from her side.
